  more Information...

The open rotor of the TRN series suctions a large volume of water for the motor power throughthe pump basket. This water is then mixed with air and distributed horizontally in all directionsthrough the channels of the guide ring. The top of the rotor is hollow and allows the air that has been suctioned in to fill the area aroundthe shaft seal so that it can mix with the water at the rotor. One consequence of this is that alayer of air is formed separating the shaft seal from the medium and thereby substantiallyincreasing the life of the shaft seal. Another effect is that the water that is suctioned in isoxygenated with tiny air bubbles, effectively aerating the waste water.

Pressurised System

This is a method of deep layer aeration using
TSURUMI submersible aerators of the
TRN-series.
For example a nine meter deep tank may be
pressurised to a depth of six meters by the
action of a rotary blower and then the
remaining three meters may be treated by
the suction of the aerator.

The adoption of this system can greatly
decrease the power necessary by the
blower in order to aerate the same area.
